Reception have kicked off 2020 with their new topic ‘Ar y Fferm’ (On the Farm). We have been researching where wool comes from and the different uses of wool, we have learnt the names of farm animals in Welsh, we have done a skype call to a real life farmer and even had farm animals visit us on our playground! We were really excited to meet Rosie and Ruby the goats and Benny and Ruby the donkeys from Walnut Tree Farm! We were able to ask Phillip and Becky some questions and even got to pet and feed the animals! We cannot wait to learn more about farm animals this half term and share all that we have learnt with you at home.
