Selected Reception families to take part in Literacy, Numeracy and Personal and Social sessions with Miss Welsh and Mrs Lee.

Year 5 pupils will be involved in a Diversity workshop facilitated by GEMS (Gwent Education Minority Ethnic Service)

Pupils throughout the school will take part in a range of activities to celebrate Safer Internet Day.

Mr Mansfield is taking three pupils to give a lecture to Masters students at the University of South Wales.

Parents of pupils in the Foundation Phase will be invited to a Family Learning event in the Beaufort Centre. There will be lots of different activities and visitors to help your child learn. Pupils will leave at the end of the day with lots of free resources and a new book.

Parents invited to meet with their child's teacher to discuss progress and view their children's work. Please book appointments using the online booking system which will be opened a fortnight before.

Year 3 will be visiting Bristol Zoo and taking part in a Rainforest workshop.

Year 2 pupils have the opportunity to visit Newport Wetlands for a range of workshops for their 'Soaring High and Diving Deep' theme this term. The coach will leave at 9:15am and return by 2:45pm.

This half term, the Year 1 topic has been ‘Julia Donaldson’ and the children have enjoyed reading and retelling lots of her stories. One of her stories we have enjoyed the most is ‘Room on the Broom.’ After reading this book, the children have been working hard to design, cost and make their own drinks....
