Digital Leaders

About us

We are the St. Julian’s Primary School Digital Leaders and our job is to support pupils and staff in developing their digital skills. There are fifteen of us in total from a range of different year groups. To be Digital Leaders, we had to apply online and also provide references from our teachers. We also have a team of apprentices called the Digital Whizz Kids who work with us in our mission to develop digital skills at St. Julian’s.

What we do

As Digital Leaders, we have the following job description…

• To promote the use of Digital Technology to enhance teaching and learning
• Share our Digital Vision for the school
• Teach others how to stay safe online
• Provide training for students, teachers and parents
• Monitor, evaluate and report to Governors, Parents and Pupils on how Digital Technology is used in school
• Research latest technology and decide what we invest in at St. Julian’s
• Maintain and update equipment
• Record and Live Stream special events
• Run the school’s radio
