Nursery have had a lovely half term kicking off our new topic all about bugs. The children have been so curious and excited, spotting mini beasts outside, reading bug-themed stories, and getting creative with their own insect crafts. We’ve especially loved learning about bees – how they make honey and help flowers grow – and we had great fun celebrating World Bee Day with brilliant costumes, buzzing games, and even making our own bee hats. Sports Day was another highlight, full of smiles, cheering, and plenty of running around, and I couldn’t be more proud of the children! We’re really looking forward to next half term and discovering even more about the bugs we can find in the garden – who knows what we’ll spot next!
