Nursery Update Autumn B

This term in nursery has been so much fun and full of exciting activities! We’ve loved learning all about hedgehogs – finding out where they live, what they eat, and how they get ready to hibernate. The children really enjoyed making hedgehog crafts and singing songs about these prickly little creatures. We’ve also had a great time learning about leaves – spotting different shapes and colors and talking about how they change in autumn. Reading Leaf Man was a big hit, and the children loved using the leaves they collected to make their own leaf creations.

As Christmas got closer, we got stuck into all things festive! The children made some fantastic Christmas crafts, like sparkly decorations and cards, and the highlight of the term was definitely filming our Christmas concert. They sang and performed brilliantly – we are all so proud of them!

We hope you all have a lovely Christmas and enjoy a nice, relaxing break. We can’t wait to see you in January when we’ll be learning all about Wonderful Winter! There’s so much fun ahead, from exploring snow and ice to finding out about animals that live in cold places. See you soon!
