We have had a fantastic Spring B term, filled with exciting experiences, creativity and lots of special moments shared together. It has been a joy to see the children continue to grow in confidence, independence and enthusiasm for learning.
One of the highlights of this term was celebrating Welsh Week and preparing for the Eisteddfod. The children worked incredibly hard to create their beautiful sheep art, showing great creativity and care in their designs. We were very proud to attend the Eisteddfod, where the children confidently performed a song. They did an amazing job and represented our Nursery so well!
We also had lots of fun celebrating World Book Day. The children loved dressing up as their favourite characters and sharing stories with their friends. It was wonderful to see their excitement for books and storytelling, and they all looked fantastic in their costumes.
This term, we were lucky to take part in an upbeat African drumming music workshop. The children thoroughly enjoyed exploring rhythm and sound through the drums, joining in with enthusiasm and energy. It was a fantastic opportunity to experience a different style of music and express themselves creatively.
We enjoyed a very special visit to Glyn Anwen, where the children took part in spring and Easter crafts with the tenants. This was a truly heartwarming experience, and the children represented the school beautifully while building connections within the community.
We were delighted to invite parents into Nursery for our numeracy-based stay and play session. The children loved sharing their learning with their families, exploring numbers through fun, hands-on activities.
As Easter approached, excitement grew! The children were thrilled to have a visit from the Easter Bunny, which brought lots of smiles and excitement. They also proudly brought in their amazing Easter bonnets, which they had made at home. It was wonderful to see the creativity and effort that had gone into each one. We finished the term with a lovely Easter bonnet parade, where the children confidently showed off their designs.
It has been a very busy and enjoyable half term, full of memorable experiences and achievements. We are incredibly proud of all the children and everything they have accomplished.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back for more learning and fun in the Summer term!
