We have really enjoyed learning about our furry friends during our theme ‘Whiskers, feathers and fur’.  Our virtual visit to Greenmeadow Farm was fantastic!  We learned so much about how to care for animals, and we were able to ask lots of questions!  Claire the farmer was great!  Our vet role play has also been great fun, where we have looked after the sick animals.  We absolutely loved having our school guinea pigs in nursery. We learned how to feed them, how to clean the cage, and how to handle them carefully.  Giving the guinea pigs cuddles was also fantastic for our wellbeing!

Our nursery environment is looking great with the new addition of a street of playhouses!  We have also had a beautiful new log circle added to the garden.  We are looking forward to using our garden next term for our new theme ‘Beautiful bugs!’.
