Foundation Phase pupils:

New children have been given individual starting dates, either Wed 6th, Thurs 7th, Fri 8th or Mon 11th. Older ‘Rising 3’ children start Tuesday 12th Sep. If you are unsure of your time, please contact the school office on Monday 4th or Tuesday 5th or email [email protected]
Reception Pupils (pupils who were in nursery last year) – Phased start:

Pupils who were in morning nursery will be in from 9am – 11:40am during the first week.
Pupils who were in afternoon nursery will be in from 1:10pm – 3:00pm. during the first week.

Mon 4th Sep – Training Day (School Closed)
Tues 5th Sep – Training Day (School Closed)
Wed 6th Sep – AM Nursery(9:00am-11:40am) | PM Nursery(1.10pm – 3:00pm)
Thurs 7th Sep – AM Nursery(9:00am-11:40am) | PM Nursery(1.10pm – 3:00pm)
Fri 8th Sep – AM Nursery(9:00am-11:40am) | PM Nursery(1.10pm – 3:00pm)
*Any pupils who did not attend St. Julian’s Primary School Nursery should attend during the afternoon session for the first week

All reception pupils will then start full time from Monday 11th (8:45am – 3:10pm)

Year 1 & Year 2 pupils (pupils who were in Reception and Year 1 last year):
Your new teachers will meet you at their classroom doors. Mrs Hando’s new class will enter the school by the outdoor classroom/blackboard through the double doors. Mrs Orford (Deputy Headteacher) and Miss Dowsell (Foundation Phase Leader) will also be on the Foundation Phase yard before school to answer queries if needed.

Key Stage 2 Pupils:

Please make sure your child is on the front junior yard before 8:55am. If the weather is dry, Mr Rees will be on the yard with a microphone to help guide pupils to the right place. Pupils line up in front of their teacher in boys’ and girls’ lines. Signs will be up, so you can see where your child should line up. Mr Mansfield (Deputy Headteacher) will also be available on the yard to take any queries parents may have.
