Today, Welsh Country dancers from the Foundation Phase and Key Stage Two took part in the annual Gwyl Plant festival. The children enjoyed dancing in the glorious sunshine at the Newport tennis centre in Spytty. The children had the chance to dance with other Newport schools and even got their Mums, Dads and siblings to dance too! Miss Welsh was shocked when the children had to do The Floss (a move which she definitely hadn’t learned!) A huge thank you for all your support today! Well done Country dancers, you were amazing!
