Reception have had a brilliant day at Bristol Zoo! We have been learning all about the zoo this term and after we skyped a zookeeper on Friday, we were VERY excited about visiting today! We have been so lucky with the weather too – apart from a little hailstorm while watching the gorilla feed, we had brilliant sunshine and blue sky! We got to see the endangered animals we have been learning about, and although it seemed we were most keen to eat our lunch, enjoyed visiting the penguins, lions, butterflies, flamingos and many more too.
The coach home was full of lots of sleepy children, ready to tell you all about their fun filled day and for a good sleep!
